Math has been around as long as our humanity has existed. Many cultures around the world has contributed to field of Mathematics ranging from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, China, India, Islamic Empire, United States, Russia and many parts of Europe.

Being good at Math is essential in all parts of our life whether you are doing a simple calculation for calorie counts or managing your everyday financial matters. Significant advances in physics, engineering, financial, bio tech, and many other fields would not have been possible without the ability to compute and process a lot of mathematical calculations and analysis at much faster speeds using technology. Being good at Math is required to score well in SAT and ACT while in high school but it also helps when taking the tests such as GRE and GMAT while in college. Mathematics also teaches a very valuable skill: Problem Solving. Any math problem can be solved in different ways by applying different techniques whether it is a simple multiplication or a complex integral. We learn tremendously when we explore and compare many different ways to solve a problem and find the most efficient and beautiful way of solving it. This valuable skill forms the foundation that helps us greatly when we are faced with problems in our professional and personal lives.
